The Society for Science and the Public (SSP) has partnered with Broadcom to launch the Broadcom MASTERS™ National Middle School Science and Engineering Competition. This program is open to students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Under the guidance of their teachers, students perform an investigation. The results of the investigation are presented at the regional LISEF – SSP Broadcom MASTERS Fair. The projects receiving a first place award are eligible to apply for national Broadcom MASTERS competition. Top 10% nominations for each regional fair are based on total number of participating students and determine the number of first place projects.
